Happy Friday, Unofficial Okemo readers! 🪩 This is Abby to congratulate you on making it through the first full week of 2025. And boy, was it a cold one here in Ludlow. 🥶

The summit lifts have been on wind hold for four days now, which I don't think has happened since I've lived here (which is 9 years now). 🌬️ You can still access the summit by Sachem to Glades, but it's a...commitment, let's say.

I want to honor the Mountain Ops teams' efforts in trying to get the Sunburst Six and the Evergreen Express open for us this week, but it simply just hasn't been safe enough to do so with swinging chairs entering the terminal. 🫧

Against my will, I got bundled up like Randy from The Christmas Story and skied literally one. single. run. before I couldn't feel my legs. Let's talk about it. ⬇️
