38. Saturday, January 11th

Good morning everyone, Noah here, with you for a Saturday morning update. We were out once again for a 6 am start. I met up with Chris and Ben in the lot for Ben's first "real" hike with his split board. Snowmaking was firing with some action on White Lightning, The Plunge, Easy Street, Home Stretch, Green Link, Southern Crossing, and Lower Moonshadow. It's amazing how quickly your body can adapt because the 20 degrees felt balmy this morning. After some raw conditions over the past week, it was nice to enjoy the milder temps and much less wind. We did, however, get to enjoy some freshly falling snow. We have consistently received dustings for a week or so, and it has been making snow quality amazing.
