46. Monday, January 20th
Good morning, readers! ☀️ This is Abby with today's snow report. We were greeted with bluebird skies and 4" of fresh snow this morning to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
It often becomes easy to overlook the true meaning of a holiday, especially when the most immediate impact in our life is a day off to spend doing something we enjoy, like skiing. So this is your reminder that Dr. King stood for a relentless pursuit of justice and equality, and that requires people every day to not only notice where we fall short but to work diligently towards a better country for everyone. A good place to start is being kind and if you see something, say something. 🫶
With that in mind, I wrapped up the long weekend with an hour of solo first tracks this morning. 😌 I found a mix of natural and groomed terrain; one reason why many folks love Okemo. 💖 Keep reading below!
