Good afternoon team — Noah here, coming to you after a late-day wander on the tele gear. With cold temps returning last night, everything that was soft and friendly yesterday froze up tight. I held off until just after 2pm, hoping the sun would do some work. It was right around 32°, and with full sunshine at the base, it felt like spring — even if the top of the mountain was still holding onto winter. I ran into my father-in-law, Brent, by the waffle cabin (a classic spot for serendipity), and we got a few bonus runs in together. Weird day — winter on the top two-thirds, spring on the bottom third — but it worked.
